Do you need to hire a wedding coordinator? Wedding Coordinators in Oregon and Washington

Yes. Unless you want to work sixty hours to plan your wedding, hire a coordinator. Yes, you can do it by yourself but it’s dozens of hours of work. Only for very small backyard weddings would I even consider doing it yourself or having a family member do it. Even then, the best backyard weddings I’ve worked have all had wedding coordinators. Also there are coordinators that specialize in small and mid-size weddings and day-of coordinating, which can save you money.
