Oregon Wedding Photographer & Videographer

Photographs that feel alive. Films that bring back the voices, movement, and people you love—created by one coordinated team across Oregon and the West Coast.

Wildwood creates documentary-meets-editorial wedding photography with calm posing guidance, intentional portrait direction, and professional retouching. Photography leads the visual story: unscripted moments stay honest, while portraits are shaped just enough to feel polished and recognizably you. For couples who also want film, one coordinated team protects the timeline and adds vows, toasts, interviews, movement, and natural audio without turning the wedding into a production. We serve celebrations across Oregon and the West Coast, and we confirm travel, venue rules, and drone feasibility for each plan rather than making assumptions. Combined photography and film coverage of six hours or more includes a verified $1,000 savings; qualifying combined coverage of eight hours or more includes complimentary engagement photography.

Wedding photography that feels candid—and looks intentional

Unscripted moments

For most of the day, we watch for the exchanges that cannot be staged: a hand squeeze, a room changing when someone enters, and the people who make the celebration feel like yours.

Guided editorial portraits

When direction helps, we offer calm, specific posing guidance so portraits feel composed without becoming stiff or performative.

Professional retouching

Every delivered photograph is professionally edited and retouched with attention to rich color, natural skin, and a finished look that still belongs to the day.

One team for photography and film

A coordinated timeline

Photo and film priorities are planned together, reducing duplicated requests and protecting time with your guests.

Consistent communication

You share one set of priorities with a coordinated visual team, from planning through the wedding day.

Interviews and natural audio

Film can preserve vows, toasts, movement, and the voices of family and friends as an heirloom layer beside the photographs.

What combined coverage includes

Coverage is shaped around the date, place, timeline, and priorities you share. The current verified incentives are $1,000 off combined photography and film with a six-hour minimum, plus complimentary engagement photography for qualifying combined coverage of eight hours or more. Your proposal should confirm the exact deliverables for your plans.

Oregon wedding photography and videography FAQs

Do you offer photography without film?

Photography is a primary Wildwood service. Film is available as the heirloom layer for couples who want movement and voices preserved alongside the gallery.

How do we know whether drone coverage is possible?

Airspace, venue rules, weather, safety, and the wedding timeline all matter. We confirm feasibility for the individual celebration rather than promising a flight in every setting.

How do we start?

Share your date, place, and what you most want to remember; the availability link below begins the conversation.

How far in advance should we inquire?

As soon as your date and location are meaningful enough to discuss. We’ll confirm live availability and current coverage in a personal reply.

We were married in Bend, OR winter 2023 and it was an unforgettable day. One of the best decisions we made was hiring JD to capture our wedding day so we could enjoy watching it over and over each year.
