Inquiry information

If you use our inquiry form, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, phone number, one or more preferred dates, estimated guest count, selected region, venue or setting, requested services, selected photography budget range, how you heard about us, and the story or notes you share. We use this information to respond, check availability, prepare next steps, and manage the inquiry.

The inquiry form is provided by HoneyBook. When you submit it, your answers go directly to HoneyBook, where they create an inquiry project for availability, follow-up, and client-workflow processing. The production website does not make a second copy of the HoneyBook submission in Firebase or send it through Zapier.

If your landing-page URL contains a Google Ads click identifier (gclid), we retain and use it only after you accept analytics and advertising measurement. While that consent is active, the identifier and its capture time are kept in first-party browser storage for advertising attribution. It is not added to your HoneyBook answers or sent to HoneyBook by the form. Rejecting or withdrawing analytics clears the stored identifier.

Security and abuse prevention

HoneyBook operates the secure inquiry form and its submission controls. Before the form loads, Wildwood sets a short-lived, signed, HttpOnly first-party cookie containing only a random token, form category, original page path, and issue time. After HoneyBook returns a completed inquiry to Wildwood, a token hash is recorded in Firebase solely to prevent the same conversion from being counted twice. Neither record contains your name, contact details, date, location, budget, referral answer, or story.

Optional analytics and advertising measurement

On the canonical Wildwood website, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, and Google Ads conversion measurement load only after you accept analytics. Rejecting or leaving the choice unanswered prevents those Google measurement tags from loading.

After HoneyBook returns a completed inquiry to Wildwood, the site may send a form label, service category, and original page path for conversion measurement. That Google Tag Manager event does not contain your name, contact details, event details, story, HoneyBook project ID, budget, referral answer, or Google Ads click identifier. Ad personalization remains disabled.

Cookies and browser storage

We store your analytics choice in first-party local browser storage under wildwood.analytics-consent.v1. That setting contains only “granted” or “denied” and remains until you change it or clear this site’s browser storage. With analytics and advertising measurement consent, a valid Google Ads click identifier may also be stored underwildwood_google_ads_click_id for up to 90 days, or until another valid identifier replaces it. Rejecting or withdrawing that consent removes the identifier and its expiry metadata from first-party browser storage. While an inquiry form is open, a non-identifying, HttpOnly attribution cookie may be stored for up to six hours and is removed after a completion is verified. If you accept analytics, Google measurement services may set first-party measurement cookies. Rejecting analytics keeps those services off; withdrawing consent also attempts to remove known Google measurement cookies.

Use “Cookie preferences” in the footer at any time to accept, reject, or withdraw analytics consent.

HoneyBook forms

After you choose a service, the website continues to a HoneyBook-hosted inquiry form. Loading and submitting that form sends technical request information and the answers you choose to provide directly to HoneyBook under its privacy and security practices.

Embedded video

Some pages request a preview image from YouTube before a video is played. Choosing Play loads a privacy-enhanced YouTube embed from youtube-nocookie.com. Google or YouTube may receive technical request information when those resources load.

Retention and deletion requests

Retention periods vary by purpose and by the systems used, so there is not one accurate duration for every record. You can ask us to delete personal information associated with an inquiry. We will address the request across systems we control, subject to records that must be retained for operational or legal reasons.
